The same chat, open on your phone and your computer
- fixed Opening your saved return link on a second device no longer freezes the page behind a "this chat is open in another tab" notice. The conversation now opens on both devices at once, and what you send from either shows up on both as your own message.

- new A chat kept open in two places shows the second device under your nickname with a short suffix (like -x7q). The person you're talking to still sees it as you, just from another screen.
Your saved return link now works on more than one screen. Open it on your phone while the desktop still has the chat, or the other way around, and both are in the conversation: whatever you send from either shows up on both as your own message.
Until now the chat treated its nickname as a single seat. Whichever device joined second was locked out behind a "this chat is open in another tab" notice that waited for the other tab to close, even when the other "tab" was a phone in a pocket, and the two devices could spend the evening handing that lockout back and forth. The second device now takes a slight variation of your nickname, a couple of extra characters on the end (something like -x7q), and simply joins. The person you're talking to still sees it as you, just writing from another screen.
Two small guards came with the change. Your other device's messages never count as the creator replying, so you won't get a notification buzz for your own words, and the creator's online and typing indicators stay pointed at the real creator. The old notice still exists for the rare case of a chat already open in two other places, but it now says plainly that the chat is open somewhere else and reconnects once one of them closes.
