bespoke grew up a little: it has a Terms of Service page and a Privacy Policy now, both in plain language, both linked from the footer of every page.
The Terms cover the ground you'd expect (what bespoke is, your account, your content) plus the parts that matter for a messaging tool: what's not allowed, how we handle abuse reports, and the honest answer to "who can see this". Chats are pseudonymous between the two sides, and records exist for as long as a conversation does, disclosed only when the law requires. Deleting a conversation removes it from the live service; the policy says plainly that backups and logs can hold copies until they cycle out.
The Privacy Policy is the full inventory: messages, connection records (IP addresses), link metadata, the optional email on your account, notification settings, operational logs, and backups. It also says who never sees what: no analytics on chat pages, nothing sold, no ads against your data.
One more piece: right after you create an account, the success page and the dashboard point you at the Terms. Continuing to use bespoke means agreeing to them, and now that's said out loud, once, instead of buried in a footer.
